A 17-yr-old teenage girl, Stella Kambi drowned trying to save her 14-yr-okd friend from swimming targedy.
Stella died on Wednesday trying to save Bonheur Musungay, 14, when he got into trouble in the water at Thorpe Marshes Nautre Reserve in Trowse, Norfolk.
She had been sunbathing with her sister, Claudine, when the pair jumped in to save their younger friend.
Claudine survived the tragedy while Stella, the oldest of six children, was pulled under.
The girls' father has paid tribute to the teenager who was studying a nursing degree with the hope of one day becoming a paediatrician.
'She was the oldest of our six children and looked after everyone - she was very caring,' said Daniel Ateko.
'She was studying nursing at college and wanted to be a paediatrician.
'She was a good Christian who had worked hard to do well at school since arriving in this country.
'She was kind, funny and just made people happy.'
