There are strong indications that President Buhari might discontinue with some economic policies of fmr. President Goodluck Jonathan.
He hinted this, during a meeting with the executive members of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).

The President said that he would not hesitate to dump any economic policy that is not geared towards job creation for the youth.
He also called on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),Ministries of Industries, Trade and Investment, and Financeto formulate policies that will boost the manufacturing industry.
Buhari said “We are in difficult times economically, but we’ll continue to do our best for manufacturing to pick up. We must begin to behave as if we have no oil at all. “We will gladly have policy somersaults, if it will mean more jobs, particularly for youths."
Adding that his government had a clear idea on how to create employment, he also said that the govt. is working hard to make it a reality.
The MAN President, Dr Frank Udemba Jacobs, also stressed that manufacturing will thrive when enabling policies are put in place, adding that the manufacturing sector is the key to employment creation and development in the country.
