CNN’s Global Executive Vice President and Managing Director,Tony Maddox, has apologized on behalf of the news channel for describing Kenya as a 'hotbed' of terror.
The apology was offered in a meeting between Maddox and Kenya's president Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a televised report, CNN had described Kenya as hotbed' with“questionable security concerns worse than Iraq and Afghanistan”.
