EFCC arraigns ex-banker, others for N12million fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 arraigned three former bankers - Rita Emmanuel, Orjiri Martins and Monday Chibueze Ben, before Justice G. C. Aguma of the State High Court, Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing to the tune of N12,150,000.

Emmanuel, a customer service manager and teller of a new generation bank, allegedly converted the sum of N6,075,000 belonging to some bank customers to personal use. The fraud was allegedly concealed by Martins and Ben. The trio, who were present in court, are alleged to have deliberately conspired to defraud the bank.

One of the charges read: “That you Rita Emmanuel, Orjiri Martins and Monday Chibueze Ben on or about the 3rd day of October, 2014 at the First City and Monument Bank Limited, Ikwere Road branch, Port Harcourt, Rivers State within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court did conspire with each other to commit felony to wit: stealing and thereby committed an offence contrary to, and punishable under Section 516A of the Criminal Code Law Cap C37 Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1990.”

Another charge reads: “That you Rita Emmanuel on or about the 3rd day of October, 2014 at the First City and Monument Bank Limited, Ikwere Road branch, Port Harcourt, Rivers State within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, being the customer service manager and teller of the Said bank, did steal the sum of N6,075,000 by fraudulently converting the said amount which is cash deposits from various customers of the bank and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 383 (1) (a) and punishable under section 390 (B) of the Criminal Code Law Cap C37 Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1990.”

They pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In view of their plea, prosecuting counsel, U. R. Ewoh asked the court for a date to commence trial. Counsel for the 1st and 3rd accused persons, V. F. Ajoku, and Smart Ikenga for the 2nd accused person, however, prayed that the court should grant the accused bail.

Justice Aguma granted the accused bail in the sum of N3,000,000 and one surety each. The surety who must be resident in Rivers State must be a civil servant on Grade Level 14 or a Medical Doctor, their office, status, and address must be verified by the court and the passport of the accused persons should be deposited in the court.

The case was adjourned to November 4, 2015.

21 year old Stabs Boyfriend To Death After She Found Love Message On His Phone

Ruth Wanjiru Kamanda, aged 21, has been charged to court by Kenyan police for stabbing her boyfriend, Farid Mohammed, 24, 21 times to death in Buruburu on Sunday, September 20, after she found love messages from another woman on his mobile phone.

Kamanda, who also sustained stab wounds on her stomach, right thigh and left hand during the incident is being handcuffed on her hospital bed at Kenyatta National Hospital as police continue with man-slaughter investigations.

Kamanda stabbed the Mohammed 21 times on the chest, stomach, neck, back and face. Buruburu OCPD Richard Kerich said Mohammed died in hospital while undergoing treatment for the multiple stab wounds on his back, stomach, chest and neck.

According to source, Kamada found love messages on the deceased’s mobile phone and when she confronted him, he denied knowledge of the sender, this led to an argument between them in the course of which Kamanda was alleged to have picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed Mohammed severally. She is currently under constant police surveillance.

The landlord, Mr Ndwiga Gatimu, said that he heard the deceased crying for help from Ngarania Court, house number 539 and went to check. He saw Ms Wanjiru, popularly known as “Biggy” walking inside the house. She however refused to open the door prompting him to call the police. Police visited the scene and forced the door open. They found blood stains on the sitting room, but when they checked the bedroom, they found the deceased lying in bed, with 22 stab wounds.

Police have sought the help of mobile service providers after the deceased phone was found completely smashed and no data could be retrieved from the shell. Other exhibits collected from the scene include a laptop, the blood stained knife, blood-stained bed sheets and pillows.

Man trapped in coma was AWAKE for 12 years but couldn't move or speak

A man has revealed the living nightmare of waking up from a coma – only to find he was unable to tell anyone.

Martin Pistorius slipped into the coma aged 12 and could not move, communicate or do anything for himself for 12 years.

And to his horror, when he did awake, he was unable to communicate his return.

The South African youngster was diagnosed with a debilitating form of meningitis in the late 1980s and was left unable to move, speak or even make eye contact.

His parents, Rodney and Joan Pistorius, were left to do everything for him - from bathing and feeding to turning him in bed and were advised he would soon die.

It was such a tough life that Joan told NPR.org that she remembers looking at Martin one day and saying: "I hope you die."

And yet all the time – from the age of 14 or 15 – Martin, now 39, was awake.

He told NPR: "I was there, not from the very beginning, but about two years into my vegetative state I began to wake up. I was aware of everything, just like any normal person.

"Everyone was so used to me not being there that they didn't notice when I began to be present again.

"The stark reality hit me that I was going to spend the rest of my life like that – totally alone."

Martin said all he could do was "think" – and his thoughts became increasingly darker as time went on.

So he decided to block it out and stop thinking.

He said: "You simply exist. It's a very dark place to find yourself because, in a sense, you are allowing yourself to vanish."

Martin's brain began functioning fully at the age of 24 and his body followed at the age of 24.

His first movement and deep thoughts have been recorded in NPR's new programme on human behaviour, Invisibilia.

Martin has also published a book, Ghost Boy: My Escape From a Life Locked Inside My Own Body.

Lady kidnapped sister’s 3 kids, sold 2 at N600,000

The Lady pictured above right identified as Faith Nuhu has been arrested by the Abuja police command after she kidnapped her sister's three children, Grace Musa Idris,13, Philip Musa Idris, 3, and Paul Musa Idris from their home in Kafachan, Kaduna State on the pretext of going to buy them biscuits. She then took the children to a motor park, where she boarded a vehicle to Owerri where she sold two of them at N600,000 to one Evelyn Ojiaku, who operates an illegal maternity home at Owerri, Imo State.
According to a report by The Sun, Faith works with a medical doctor and four others in a 6 man child trafficking syndicate.

After kidnapping her sister's children, Faith in company of other members of the kidnapping gang were on their way to Owerri when they decided to drop the eldest of the children, Grace, along the Abuja-Jos highway because they felt she was too old and was intelligent enough to understand what was going on. After wandering on the road for hours, a motorist stopped on the road and inquired from the little girl what she was doing on the road. She told them what happened. The police was alerted and after a comprehensive analytical tracking system, Faith was arrested. When interrogated, she confessed to being part of a kidnapping and child trafficking syndicate. She then led the police to other members of her gang in Edo and Imo state.

Among the other members of the gang are Chigozie Goodwill, Mrs. Evelyn Ojiaku who operates a private hospital, John Ojiaku, Elizabeth Onyemaobi, and Dr. Amadi Godwin Uzoma.

When the suspects were paraded before newsmen at the Force headquarters Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer said one of the suspects, Evelyn Ojiaku operates a private hospital, Royal Maternity/Clinic and child service around the Umuyi Akaba Ikeduru, off Kilometer 6, Owerri-Okigwe, road and also engages in sale of children. The police also revealed that the woman had earlier bought a day old baby belonging to Faith Nuhu, for N100,000 and that she operates her illegal maternity home with the connivance with one of her sons, John Ojiaku.


They will appear in court soon.

They are said to have agreed a financial package and divided up their assets after Arsene filed for legal separation in a French court.

Wenger, who previously admitted that his high pressured job with Arsenal had put pressure on his marriage has not been seen with Annie since 2013, which led to speculations for months that all was not well between the couple. Their split have now been confirmed.

Scientists claim men can tell a cheating woman from her photo

Scientists claim men are able to tell if a woman is a cheater simply by examining a photograph of her.

Researchers at the University of Western Australia suggested men have a surprising ability to spot trouble before she walked into his life.

Dr Samantha Leivers asked men to look at photographs where one woman was a lady of fidelity and the other was a chronic cheat.

The sex doctor found that in between 55% and 59% of the tests, men were able to guess which woman was the heartbreaker.

She says:

"We don't expect them to be 100 per cent accurate when they are literally just looking at someone's face for a few seconds,The fact that they're showing any accuracy from this limited information is pretty cool.

"We show for the first time that men's judgments of faithfulness from images of women can contain a kernel of truth when they are able to directly compare images in a forced choice task," she continued.

Men tend to look for evidence of trustworthiness to make their snap judgement as well as attractiveness, with pretty, unreliable-looking people deemed more likely to play away.

Nigeria's Economy Could Slip Into Recession - CBN Warns

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday warned that the country’s economy could slip into recession by next year if proactive steps were not taken by the Federal Government to revive key sectors of the economy.

It also reduced the Cash Reserves Requirements for Banks from 31 per cent to 25 per cent as well as retained the Monetary Policy Rate at 13 per cent.

The committee also retained the symmetric corridor of 200 basis points around the MPR; and left the Liquidity Ratio unchanged at 30 per cent.

Addressing journalists shortly after the two-day meeting of the committee held at the CBN headquarters in Abuja, the CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, noted that the economy had remained fragile owing to various factors.

For instance, he said the country’s Gross Domestic Product Growth Rate recorded a slow growth in the second quarter of this year, making it the second consecutive less-than-expected performance for the current fiscal year.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, real GDP grew by 2.35 per cent in the second quarter of 2015, a significant decrease when compared with the 3.96 per cent and 6.54 per cent in the preceding quarter and corresponding period of 2014, respectively.

Real GDP growth is projected by the NBS to stabilise at 2.63 per cent in 2015, compared with the 6.22 per cent recorded in 2014.

I Am Being Tried Because I am Senate President - Saraki

Senator Bukola Saraki says he is being tried at the Code of Conduct Tribunal because he is the Senate President. In a personal statement he signed yesterday September 22nd, Saraki said

"I reiterate my belief that the only reason while I am going through this trial is because I am senate president. If I were to be just a senator, I doubt if anybody will be interested in the asset declaration form I filled over twelve years ago".

Diddy Tops Jay Z on New Forbes List of Richest Rappers

Sean “Diddy” tops the list of the world’s highest paid stars in hip hop, edging out Jay Z and Drake on the 2015 “Hip Hop Cash Kings” tally, revealed Tuesday.

Harlem native Combs, 45, made an estimated $60 million between June 2014 and June 2015, from investments outside of music, such as his TV network Revolt and Ciroc vodka, the publication calculated.

Runner up Jay Z, also 45, earned an estimated $56 million from business ventures in music, sports and lifestyle. His 22 shows with his wife, singer Beyonce, helped boost his earnings, Forbes said.

Canadian rapper Drake, 28, came in at No. 3 with $39.5 million, the bulk of which came from touring, as well as high profile endorsements from Sprite and Nike.


Nicki Minaj was the only woman to crack into the top ten of the highest paid hip hop acts, coming in at No. 9 with $21 million from touring and endorsements.

Forbes calculated its list using pre-tax income figures from factors such as record sales, touring, streaming and endorsements using data from Nielsen SoundScan, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and interviews with managers, lawyers and in some cases, the artists themselves.

Other hip hop moguls in the top teninclude Beats co-founder Dr. Dre and rappers Eminem and Kanye West.

Boko Haram Suspect Arrested In Lagos

A suspected member of the Boko Haram sect identified as Abdullahi Adamu has been arrested by Security operatives attached to Operation Mesa (OP Mesa) in Ijora area of Lagos State following a tip-off by residents of the community.

The suspect, identified as Abdullahi Adamu, was apprehended during a raid carried out by operatives of the security outfit comprising the Army and the State Security Service (SSS).

According to The Nation, the raid, which took place at the Ijora 7-Up area of Lagos, came after a tip-off on the activities of a terror network allegedly co-ordinated by Iranians.

The suspects was arrested after soldiers ransacked one of the buildings in the area. Adamu was said to have concealed some devices suspected to be explosives in boxes, which were stacked in the ceiling of the house. Also recovered alongside the suspected explosives were two AK47 rifles.


Commenting on the arrest, the paramount ruler of Ijora community, Oba Fatai Ojora said

"We have been calling on the state government to do something about this. This is the second time we will arrest Boko Haram suspects in this community and nothing has been done on that. The one we caught now had even admitted that he is a terrorist. You know that majority of the northerners in Lagos live in Ijora, Agege and Badia.’’he said

Another member of the community who spoke on condition of anonymity said “People came to me that they saw one man on the internet and that he is a member of Boko Haram, saying they know where he lives. They said they are going to his house and identify him. They arrested him and handed him to Oba of Ojora,” he said.

Rumor has it that Kim Kardashian has a few skeletons in her closet – and they’re about to be rattled.

According to Closer magazine, Lamar Odom and Scott Disick are considering writing a tell-all book about the reality TV family after their respective splits with Khloe and Kourtney.

Most shockingly, the pair are reportedly gearing up to reveal that Kim had a “hit list” of men to target before hooking up with Kanye West. And Jay Z was one of them!

The source says the 34-year-old is “fearful” about what the troublesome duo might reveal about her past.

“[Kim] knows they’re both bitter after being dumped by her sisters and booted out of the family,” a source told the mag.

Buhari Approves N70m For Nigeria’s 55th Independence Anniversary

President Buhari has approved N70 million for the entire celebration of Nigeria 55th Independence Anniversary which is slated to commence from September 25, 2015.

Disclosing this at a press conference today, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, said the Federal government has decided that the independent anniversary would be celebrated low key, that is the reason only N70m was approved to take care of the entire celebration.


Lawal who was represented by the Permanent Secretary on Political Affairs, Mrs. Ibukun Odusute, explained that the reason for the low key celebration is because the present administration appreciate the economic hardship that Nigeria and indeed the nation is confronted today.

"What the President made clear is that we cannot have Nigerians in pains and unable to do what they are supposed to do by reason of our dwindling resources and then we are spending lavishly on celebrations. That has been his philosophy and principles, that it would not be fair to spend Nigeria’s money that can be spent in paying salaries to people, making sure that children are comfortable in their various schools, providing enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the country and we will leave all that and spend large amount of money on celebration. He felt it was not a wise thing to do and we totally agreed with him. So, the main reason for low key is because of the state of the nation concerning our finances. This year’s celebration is therefore in consonance with the cost-saving policy direction of this administration. The ceremony will commence with the Jummat Prayers on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1.30pm, at the National Mosque in Abuja, the interdenominational thanksgiving service will hold on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 4pm, at the National Christian Worship Centre, while the ceremonial change of Guard will hold at the Presidential Villa at 8.00am and the children’s party will take place at the state house conference centre on October 3, 2015 at 3pm,” he said

President Buhari will address the nation at 7am on October 1, 2015.

After majority of us, Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, witnessed the appearance of our President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal this morning, we are happy that he appeared at the Tribunal after availing himself of the opportunity to defend his Fundamental Human Rights. We also want to state here, on behalf of our colleagues, that the Senate remains solidly behind Senator Saraki and we express our unalloyed support for his leadership.


We reiterate the fact that he is our choice for the post of Senate President and no politically motivated, mischievous and vindictive trial will change our opinion of him.

The trial of Bukola Saraki has been adjourned to October 21st, 22nd and 23rd. Saraki pleaded not guilty to all the 13 count charges read to him at the Tribunal. The tribunal granted him bail on self recognition.

There Will Be Consequencies If Falae Is Not Freed – FANI KAYODE TELLS FG

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the abduction of Chief Olu Falae.
The former Secretary to the Federal Government was abducted on Monday by suspected herdsmen at his farm, about 15 kilometers to his residence along Oba-Ile road, Akure, the state capital.
Fani-Kayode in a statemet said “The abduction of Chief Olu Falae is not only unacceptable but it also an exceptionally dangerous development.”

“I say this because he is not only an elder-statesman of our country but he is also one of the most revered leaders of Afenifere and the south-west.

“We cannot sit by idly and watch our leaders and elders being endangered, shamed and humiliated in this way. It is the governments job to keep us all safe and secure and they are failing in that duty.
“I call on the President and our security agencies to effect the expeditious and immediate release of Chief Olu Falae. They must rescue him from these vagabonds and vandals as soon as possible before things get out of hand.
“Let it be clearly understood that if anything happens to him and if he doesn’t come home hale and hearty, we will hold the Federal Government responsible and there will be consequences.
“Those that are in power would do well to take what I have said very seriously,” he added.

Saraki Appears Before Code of Conduct Tribunal

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has finally appeared before the Code of Conduct Tribunal where he is being charged for alleged false declaration of assets.

Mr. Saraki failed to appear before the tribunal on Friday, and again on Monday, despite an arrest warrant issued against him.

He faces a 13-count charge bordering on corruption and false assets declaration.

Mr. Saraki said Monday that he would appear before the tribunal, after the Court of Appeal in Abuja dismissed his application for a stay of execution.

He arrived at the tribunal at about 9.320 a.m, accompanied by deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and other senators.

FG exempts NNPC, PHCN, BoI, 11 others from TSA

The Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation has exempted 13 Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) from the Treasury Single Account (TSA). In a circular released yesterday September 21st, the accountant general said they were exempted because they are entities classified as profit oriented government businesses, pay dividends to the Federal Government.

The exempted MDAs are the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Power Holding Company of Nigeria, Bank of Industry (BoI), Nigeria Railway Corporation, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Agriculture, Niger Delta Power Holding Company/National Integrated Power Project, National Communication Satellite Limited, Galaxy Backbone Limited, Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited, Urban Development Bank, Nigerian Export-Import Bank NEXIM) and Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

A circular entitled, “Approval to Exempt Some MDAs In line With the e-Collection Mop-Up Exercise,” from the AGF’s office to The Director, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Banking and Payments System Department, referenced FD/LP2015/C/ADC/20/1/ /DF dated September 14, 2015 and signed by M. K, Dikwa, for the AGF, Federal Ministry of Finance, Funds Department, Abuja, reads in part: “Approval is hereby granted to your bank to exempt the accounts of thirteen (13) MDAs (Category 6) as listed below the mop-up in line with the e-Collection Circular No. HCFSF/428/S.1/120 dated 7th August 2015 as these are Profit-Oriented Government Business entities that are to pay their dividends into the Treasury Single Accounts whenever they are declared.

Please note that in line with the Presidential approval, the following as it relates to Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC as listed above (S/No.9) under Category 4 should also apply: That NAPIMS remains classified as an MDA that is funded from the Federation Account under Category 4 of the Circular, being the NNPC Business Unit responsible for the management of the Federation’s investment in the upstream activities and funded from direct proceeds of oil and gas revenue.

That NNPC will continue to preserve the status with respect to NAPIMS Operations Account as well as Escrow Account for Third Party Financing in view of the Joint Venture (JV) Cash funding currently being experienced. That all other NNPC’s commercial/Business Entities as re-classified as ‘Profit-Oriented Public Corporations /Business Enterprises’ under Category 6 of the Circular which requires that only dividends from these entities be paid into the TSA.”.

She's usually glamorously put-together with perfectly applied cosmetics and colourful wigs.

But Kylie Jenner indulged in a lazy day on Monday when she stepped out without make-up and none of her long hairpieces for a trip to a car dealership in Los Angeles with boyfriend Tyga, 25.

The 18-year-old looked fresh-faced and showed off her natural shoulder-length black tresses tied up in a scruffy ponytail as she toted her Italian Greyhound Norman.

Army Promotes 5,000 Soldiers Fighting Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army has approved the promotion of 5,000 soldiers fighting insurgents in the North-East and others involved in other operations, as part of steps to boost their morale.

The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, made the announcement on Monday in Abuja at the opening of the 2015 Chief of Army Staff third quarter conference held at the Army Headquarters conference hall.

He said the approval of the promotion of the soldiers was one of the many measures introduced by the Army under his command to boost troops’ morale and reposition its operations.

He said it was also in line with the vision of the Army command to reward gallant troops in any way deemed fit to boost their combat readiness and willingness to serve their fatherland.

He said that troops serving in the North-East and in other operations in the country would regularly receive rewards from the Army high command for their selfless service to the nation.

“Since we came on board, we have introduced several measures aimed at encouraging our troops to give their best in the service of their nation.

“The approval of the accelerated promotion of 5,000 soldiers was to redeem the promise made by my predecessor to the troops fighting insurgents in the North-East.

“It is my belief that this promotion, coupled with other incentives, will encourage our troops to fight for our country,’’ he said.

Mr. Buratai said that the Army, under his watch, within the short period, had recorded major successes in the areas of fighting insurgency, improving its human rights credentials as well as improving the welfare of troops.

He said that his vision of entrenching professionalism and bequeathing a combat ready Army to the nation was on course as commanders and troops had been fully briefed to key into the vision.

He warned commanders and senior officers to guard against acts that could undermine efforts of the present administration to rebuild the image of the Army.

“You will all agree with me that the renewed breath of change flows directly from the President in his directive to our operations and other directive on his vision for the Army.

“I therefore demand that you all react with corresponding appropriateness with regards to the directive because majority of our requirements within the limited period has been provided for,’’ he said.

The COAS charged the officers and all personnel of the Nigeria Army to constantly maintain the required level of physical fitness.

He gave all Army officers and soldiers a December 15, 2015 deadline to shape up or face the medical board for the appropriate disciplinary actions.

He also warned against leasing or selling of Nigeria Army lands across the country to private individuals or organisations and directed lands already sold be recovered with immediate effect.

The one-day conference will take briefs from theatre commanders on all Army operations across the country.

Man 'ripped out girlfriend's intestines with his bare hands after she screamed out ex's name during sex'

A man charged with murdering his girlfriend admitted to disemboweling her with his bare hands after she twice cried out her ex-husband's name during sex, police said.

According to a police report self-confessed "monster" Fidel Lopez said he flew into a drunken rage after she cried out the other man's name during rough sex inside of their Sunrise apartment's wardrobe in Florida.

Investigators say the 24-year-old admitted to shattering a sliding glass door, punching holes into a wall and ripping a closet door off its hinges.

He then returned to 31-year-old Maria Nemeth, who was lying unconscious on the floor, and proceeded to mutilate her with various objects before using his arms to disembowel her.

Before calling 911 just after 3.30am on Sunday, Lopez said he carried her body to the bathroom and splashed water on her face in an attempt to revive her.'

He then washed his hands, had a cigarette break outside and called cops to say his lover was not breathing.

Paramedics arrived at the scene to find Lopez sobbing over the woman's naked body lying in a pool of blood, according to the police report.

Ms Nemeth was pronounced dead at the scene less than 30 minutes after Lopez’s initial call to police.

In a police interview, Lopez said he and Ms Nemeth had been drinking tequila in their apartment and at some point began to have sex.

He told investigators the woman had asked him to insert a beer bottle inside her.

Lopez said Ms Nemeth then went into the bathroom to vomit and he later found her having trouble breathing and he called 911.

But later Lopez reportedly changed his story and revealed that he became enraged when Ms Nemeth called out her ex-husband's name during sex.

He then attacked her, inserting foreign objects inside her and carrying out an horrific attack.

Lopez was arrested on a first-degree murder charge on Sunday afternoon and is being held in jail.

Kylie Jenner, 18, is planning to triple her security team after she was attacked over the weekend.

The 'keep up with the kardashians' star was leaving a Chris Brown gig in Anaheim, California, when a supporter, who was clearly not a great fan of the reality star, came from nowhere and viciously pulled on her hair.

While her security didn't manage to prevent the attack, they acted quickly and pulled Kylie to safety.

Following the attack, reports now claim Kylie is demanding that her security team be tripled in size.

NAF - Boko Haram Terrorists will no longer move freely to slaughter citizens

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Wednesday said that Boko Haram terrorists would no longer be allowed to move freely to slaughter citizens or capture military units in the North-East.

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), AVM Sadique Abubakar, gave the assurance in Abuja while delivering his remark at a 2-day seminar on Standards and Evaluation, organised by NAF.

"So far, the air operations in the North-East are creating the enabling environment for the army to move unhindered in the conduct of their operation.

"We have substantially degraded the capacity of the terrorists to move freely in Toyota Hilux vehicles ravaging villages and murdering innocent citizens.

"God willing, they will never move freely again to slaughter our citizens or capture our military units.

"We will continue to do our best to meet our statutory responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of the nation, acting singly or in concert with other security agencies, " he said.
