Barbershop: The Next Cut

After over 12 years of waiting, the follow-up to 2004’s sequel“Barbershop 2: Back in Business,” titled "Barbershop : The Next Cut" is almost set for release.

Thanks to People, Essence and Entertainment Weekly, fans of Calvin’s barbershop can have their first look at upcoming Comedy. The film returns with familiar faces that include Ice Cube, Queen Latifah, Anthony Anderson, Cedric the Entertainer, and Eve.

“The Next Cut” also feature newcomers Common and Nicki Minaj, who plays a hairdresser and romantic rival to Eve’s character, Terri, in anticipated follow-up. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, "The Next Cut" is a direct sequel to the 2004 film "Barbershop 2: Back in Business" and the fourth film overall in the Barbershop film series, following the 2002 original Barbershop film and the 2005 spin-off "Beauty Shop."

Barbershop: The Next Cut is scheduled to hit theaters on April 15, 2016.

Katy Perry couldn’t resist adding her two cents after her rival Taylor Swift got into it with Nicki Minaj.

Yesterday,Perry tweeted 

“Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman,” 

The comment came on the heels of a short scuffle between Swift and Nicki Minaj on Tuesday. Minaj made a snide comment toward MTV after she wasn’t nominated for the VMAS’ Video of the Year award and Swift assumed Nicki was talking about her and responded.

Even though the beef between Minaj and Swift ended as quickly as it began, the rivalry between Perry and Swift is still going strong.

Last year, Swift announced that her song “Bad Blood” was about a female artist who stole her tour dancers right out from under her.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” Swift said in an interview with Rolling Stone about the subject of her song. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
Soon after, Perry tweeted, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…”

Swift has yet to respond to Katy.

Meek Mill Vs Drake on Twitter: Meek Mill Claims Drake Doesn't write his own Raps

Meek Mill goes off on twitter, claiming Drake doesn't write his raps and much more.

Meek Mill has never been afraid to voice his opinion on social media, and boy did he do that on Tuesday night. Feeling some type of way, Meek decided to fire off not only Nicki's ex boyfriend, Safaree “SB” Samuels, but more so on his "R.I.C.O." collaborator Drake.

Not wanting to be compared to all the rappers out there, Meek claims that Drake doesn’t write his own raps, and that’s why he didn’t tweet out Meek’s album because they found out. Meek also went on to say that Drake didn’t write his verse for Meek’s album, and if he would’ve known that before, he would’ve taken him off it.
