Senior Civil Servants Demand #46,000 As Minimum wage11
Mr Basir Lawal, the secretary-General of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), has demanded N46,000 as minimum wage for workers.
According to VANGUARD, Mr Lawal said in Lagos on Wednesday that the current N18, 000 minimum wage was no longer feasible with the worsening hardships facing civil servants. He stated that the new wage being sought by workers was arrived at after the association’s meeting with the National Public Service Joint Negotiating Council (NPSJNC).
