Keshi’s Sack Letter has been E-mailed says NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation has discredited former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi's claim that he has yet to receive his sack letter.

The governing body insists that Keshi received the letter before the decision was announced last week.

Keshi had told completesportsnigeria.com moments after the termination of his contract was announced on Saturday night that "the NFF had not given him a sack letter and that he was hearing of his sacking as the Super Eagles head coach for the first time."

But the Assistant Director (Media) with the NFF, Ademola Olajire, in reaction said that Keshi was being skirtish with the truth by claiming he was not served any sack letter.

"His sack letter was mailed to him via his e-mail address since he is holidaying with his family in the USA," Olajire told completesportsnigeria.com in Abuja on Monday. "The letter was mailed to him by the Super Eagles Secretary Dayo Enebi and copied to the chieftains of the federation including my office."

Mr. Olajire stated that the hard copy of his letter will be delivered to him as soon as possible.
