Robbers now Disguise as Bank Customers on ATM Queues at Night
The Nigeria Police Force said on Friday that armed robbers were disguising as customers at ATM at night to strike, following recent incidents in Abuja on Thursday morning and Tuesday.

“On 30th July 2015 at about 12:10am a male bank customer went to withdraw money from one of the ATMs at the CBD, three young men pretending to also there to withdraw money attacked him.
“The victim raised an alarm which attracted nearby Police patrol team to the scene. The hoodlums took to their heels upon sighting the advancing Police team, one automatic pistol fell from one of the suspects and was recovered by the Police. Victim was safely rescued.
“However, another male victim was unlucky as hoodlums attached him and snatched cash sum of N500,000 he just withdrew from an ATM on 28th July 2015. Police responded to his distress call and one of the suspects arrested. Efforts on to apprehend other gang members, FCT CIID is investigating.”
