Over the years till now, some Nigerian rappers have succeeded in releasing songs which eventually evolved into a movement.

Some of these songs include:

Ill Bliss - Dat Ibo Boy (Ibo Boy Movement)

M.I & Moti Cakes - Bad Belle (Itz Allowed is a common slang these days)

Fecko - Hustle Over Feelings (HOF Movement is new but gradually becoming a street slang)

 Phyno - Alobam

Olamide - Infact most of Baddo's songs end up becoming a street slang. His YBNL movement is still relevant.

Good news for Nigerian hip-hop as revered Nigerian hip-hop emcee, T.R (Terry tha Rapman) is officially the face of Skullcandy Headphones in Nigeria.

The rapper, who has been heavilly affiliated with the brand in recent times, made this announcement via his social media account few hours ago. He's quoted as follows:

"Deal sealed!!! Officially the face of @skullcandyng headphones. #blessed #BANS #headphonesforthegods #skullcandy"

T.R now joins the star-studded Skullcandy Ambassadors line-up which already includes the likes of NBA players Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose, Andre Iguodala, NFL’s Stevie Johnson, American rapper Wale and Brazillian footballer Thiago Silva.
