16-yr-old Victim of Gay Pride Parade Stabbing Dies

One of the victims stabbed at Jerusalem's gay pride parade last week has died, police and health officials in Jerusalem said Sunday. Shira Banki, who was 16 was one of six people stabbed Thursday by an attacker Yishai Shlissel, an Orthodox Jew who was released from prison just weeks ago after serving 10 years for stabbing marchers at a 2005 gay pride parade in Jerusalem.

Shlissel was arrested immediately after the attack, according to Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri, CNN reports.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent his condolences to Banki's family Sunday. "Shira was murdered because she bravely supported the principle that each one can live their life in honor and security," Netanyahu said in a statement. We will not allow this despicable killer to undermine the core values that Israeli society is based upon. We contemptuously denounce his actions of hate and violence. We will do everything in our power to bring this killer to face justice," the Prime Minister added

Priest Announces He Is Gay, Divorcing Wife And Marrying A Man

An Episcopal congregation in Queens was in for a big surprise recently when their priest Rev. Juan Andres Quevedo-Bosch, 59, came on pulpit to give Sunday sermon and announced that he is gay. The shocked congregation was further informed that he is divorcing his wife and marrying a younger man. Rev. Juan Andres Quevedo-Bosch, is the archdeacon of Queens and rector of the Church of the Redeemer in Astoria, On a Facebook post this week, the Cuban-born prelate announced that he got married in a Los Angeles church. “I’m in Miami Beach with my new husband. God is good,” he wrote in a caption of a picture on the beach. According to the New York Post, many parishioners have severed ties to the church after Quevedo-Bosch came out. Many are opting to attend Mass at a satellite church a few blocks away. “Most of the people aren’t coming anymore,” an elderly woman told the newspaper. “Because he’s homosexual, people have stopped coming.” However, there are many people in the largely Hispanic congregation who are supporting their priest, especially after he publicly offered to resign, the woman added. A petition was circulated to urge him to stay. Saturday services have been canceled and attendance continued to dwindle down, the Post reported. While talking to the Post, Quevedo-Bosch would not answer questions about his former wife Adria or their divorce. He revealed very little about his new marriage to the unidentified man. “I am aware that there have been concerns regarding my divorce and subsequent remarriage and have been in touch with my bishop and my congregation about them,” he said.
Bishop Larry Provenzano, head of the Long Island diocese, which includes Queens, told the Post that he has been in touch with Quevedo-Bosch “as is customary in personal matters that involve divorce and remarriage.” He said the priest has his full support. “Priests who wish to enter into same-gender marriage are approved to do so in the Episcopal Church and in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island,” Provenzano said. Earlier this year, the U.S. Episcopal Church voted to allow same-sex marriage in the church. In a Twitter post last week, Quevedo-Bosch said he would be keeping his personal and professional lives separate

British Man Fathered 10 Babies With 9 Women Through Facebook

A gay man who has fathered ten children by nine different women in 13 months has told how women do a better job at raising children.

Kenzie Kilpatrick has donated his sperm free of charge to mostly lesbian couples he met through Facebook.

The 26-year-old has now told how he has been donating his sperm because he wants to help other people.

He said he does not believe a man is needed to make a happy family, revealing his mum brought him up because his father walked out when he was five.

Speaking to the Daily mail, he said his beloved mum taught him everything, including how to drink beer and shave.

“She’s my rock,” he said.

“With the lesbian couples I couldn’t think of anything better than having two mums. Women just do a better job – they’ve got it in their blood,” he said.

Kilpatrick told recently how he has tried to help no fewer than 50 childless women to fulfil their dreams of becoming mums for free, claiming just travel and hotel “expenses” from some of those living outside Birmingham, where he’s from.

Six of them are said to have given birth over the past few months, welcoming two girls and five boys – including a set of twins – into the world.

Kenzie, from Yardley, said he “stumbled across” the idea of becoming a sperm donor after discovering sites about the subject on the internet.

One of the couples who contacted him had spent £30,000 on failed IVF treatment, which was an added incentive, he said.

“To know I’ve helped people who have suffered for so long, desperately wanting to have a baby, has been my biggest motivator,” the former carer added.

“I also feel incredible knowing that I will have ten babies out there continuing my genes.

“But I don’t feel like I need to know the babies or stay in touch with their families – I just provided the sperm. I’m not attached to them.

“It’s not the same when you’re a man as it is when you’re a woman and you carry a baby for nine months. Surrogate mums face very different emotions to what I feel.”

Openly gay Kenzie set up his own private Facebook group, Drama Free UK Sperm Donors, last June. It now boasts more than 200 members.

After being contacted by women, he arranges to meet them at their homes or in hotel rooms. He then produces a sperm sample that the couples can artificially inseminate in private, using a syringe.
