Third Goal In Four Matches Excites Igiebor

Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Nosa Igiebor is delighted with his new found goal scoring form this season.
The 25-year-old came off the substitute’s bench for Nihat Mitrovic in the 64th minute and led scored one of the goals as his side defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-1 at the Bloomfield Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Eran Zahavi in theb 70th minute and Tal Ben-Haim in the 80th were added to the Nigerian’s strike in the Toto Cup clash.
The former Real Betis midfielder took to Instagram to share his joy after his feat.
“Thank God for the goal. Three goals in four,” he wrote.
The strike was his third in four games this season and interestingly, he has equalled his feat of last season when he scored three goals in 33 appearances for the Israeli treble winners.
Meanwhile, Igiebor’s side have an uphill task to qualify for the UEFA Champions League play-offs after they suffered 2-1 home defeat to Victoria Plzen last week in third qualifying round first leg.
