The newest installment of the “Mission: Impossible” series, “Rogue Nation” secured the number one spot at the box office last weekend raking in an estimated $56 million at its opening in the United States.
This achievement marks Tom Cruise's third-highest debut and the second best opening ever for a "Mission: Impossible" film. In the action spy film, Cruise who plays the role of Ethan Huntstars alongside Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner.
Franchise piece in genre action film does its job. You know what you're going to get, they give it to you, and you like it. Baffling plotline to the end when it wraps neatly into a Hollywood ending. I'm just wondering how many people were rooting for Tom Cruise to fall off the plane in the initial scene?
